Sanjeev in Birthday Disguise Shocker!!!

Many, many...many years ago, on a blustery spring day, a bouncing boy came into this world to the sounds of...no, not angels, but, "You'd better watch out, you'd better not cry, you'd better not shout, I'm telling you why...MC Sanj is com-ing, to towwwwn!" Yes, while most babies are busy forming limbs and kicking to get out, this musical maestro had been composing his own theme music for the past 9 months...!

Fast forward 30-something years later - the music still flows through his veins, the old moniker "MC Sanj" (or McSanj as the ladies like to call him) still sticks...and yesterday, MC Sanj celebrated his birthday by starting to count down his years.

According to my Mumbai-spy, he's is now "31" which is a great deal younger than we all know him to be. In order to seem believable to his unknowing, adoring public, I am informed Sanjeev has been undergoing extensive measures to disguise his real age!

The Fountain of Youth:

He started his transformation by adopting the ever-youthful "Rebel without a Cause" look, consisting of white short-sleeved tee-shirt, and blue jeans. Whereas he once exposed his bare earlobes, a shiny silver hoop stolen from his niece Yezmina adorns his left one. To complete his disguise, I am informed of the bottles of L'Oreal hair dye hidden under the sink, which would explain his suspiciously raven locks! All in all, indeed he has managed to fool us all.

We know change is addictive MC Sanj, but none of us want to see you regress past 21, please.

And about the hair dye...don't worry, we'll keep your little secret...because as the bottle says "You're Worth It!"

THE WHOLE FAMILY WISHES YOU A WONDERFUL BIRTHDAY & MANY MORE TO COME!

Return of the Prodigal Co-Editor

* N E W S B U L L E T I N *

There is much to report in recent months.

December 2005: Clan descends upon Mumbai for annual smorgasbord of hedonism. Wadhwanis the world over convened in Mumbai in December, in conformance with the annual ritual. The emphasis as ever was on family bonding, boozing, partying, clubbing, and meeting random NRIs from all over the world.

February 2006: Karina announces engagement to Umesh Amarnani. Its official - Karina's days a Wadhwani are numbered. As thrilled as I am for her, I cant help but feel a tinge of sadness that she is being poached from us by another family. Of course, as Wadhwanis we will still have access to Karina's kindness, warmth, intelligence and good nature; but now we must share these qualities with another family. To the Amarnanis, I hope you realise how lucky you are!

March 2006: Bhagwan Wadhwani passes away. Bhagwan chacha's sad passing earlier this year was a surprise to us all, not least because he seemed to be on the road to recovery following his emergence from a coma. Bhagwan chacha, RIP.

March 2006: Gaurav parties with family members in NYC. Gaurav's 3-week visit to the USA included 2 weeks in Chicago, 5 days in Miami and 3 days in NYC, where by day he met Sanjana, Vijay, Kabir, Pravir and Henna. By night he partied with family members including Karina, Monish, Vikki, Andy G and Guna.

April 2006: Wadhwani family members return to Second Home. April has become the new December for the Wadhwani family, as relatives have flocked to Bombay in unprecedented numbers this month.

More detailed descriptions on all the above events will be posted in due course.

Loves to all,

Gaurav
